Teen Escapes After Pleading Guilty To Sex Assault

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A teenager responsible for a sex assault is on the run.

The 14-year-old pled guilty on Monday on charges of sexually assaulting a child.

The teen entered the plea in Jefferson County Court and then later in the day ran away from a worker at the Jefferson Hills Juvenile Facility in Aurora.

The teen was described as being Hispanic with a white T-shirt and red gym shoes, but so far police haven’t provided any further details.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police.
