Wes Welker Not Fazed By Addition Of Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Everybody keeps wondering how much longer Peyton Manning is going to play, but what about Wes Welker?

Welker is entering the final year of his contract with the Denver Broncos. He has a bad history with concussions. One forced him to miss a couple games last season.

So the Broncos brought in Emmanuel Sanders, who can easily play in the slot if needed. They also drafted Cody Latimer out of Indiana in the second round, perhaps some insurance in case Welker were to leave.

But Welker says he isn't thinking about anything except next season.

"I don't really don't think about it like that anymore. I want us to be the best team we can be. So whatever that means, you know, that's what it is," Welker said. "Trust me, I understand that I'm 33 and going in my 11th year, and I want us to be the best team possible, and whoever that takes being out here, that's what I'm about."

The Broncos next scheduled organized team activity offseason workout is scheduled for June 16-19.
