Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspects, Victim Partially Disrobed

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for two people involved in an armed robbery where the victim was asked to partially disrobe.

The male victim was robbed at gunpoint at E. Colfax Avenue and N. Adams Street about 4:15 a.m. on May 15.

The first suspect approached the man and asked for a lighter. That's when a red car pulled up to the curb and the second suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim and demanded his pants, shoes and backpack.

After the victim turned over the items the first suspect got into the car with the second suspect and they drove away.

The first suspect was described as a Black male with a light complexion, about 30 years old, about 5-foot-9, 165 pounds. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing brown pants, a plain white T-shirt, Fila shoes and a navy blue baseball cap.

The second suspect was described as a Black male having a dark complexion, about 30 years old, wearing a black "dress hat" with a brim around it, with a blue or red ribbon above the brim. The suspect was described as speaking with a foreign accent.

The suspect vehicle was described as a red, small, newer model Ford two door car with tinted windows in the rear with out-of-state license number NVA-644. The license plate was described as having blue and green colors.
