DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver Museum of Nature & Science will unveil its new Discovery Zone on Saturday.
The permanent exhibit includes six new areas, including a life-size climbable dinosaur, leaping fountains, a construction corner, a science kitchen and an explorer’s playhouse.
“It’s fun, it promotes learning,” Dr. Jandal Allen-Davis of Kaiser Permanente, a sponsor, said at the exhibit’s unveiling. “Kids can do what scientists do, which is about look, ask, discover, make and share.”
The exhibit, twice the size of the previous one, is targeted toward children from infants to age 5. The previous Discovery Zone closed in April.
