Lightning Strikes Home, Starts Fire

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)– Lightning struck a home in Parker on Thursday afternoon and started a fire.

The lightning struck the home near Lincoln and Chambers in Parker just after 4 p.m. on Thursday. There were storm clouds above the Denver metro area at the time but no reports of severe thunderstorms.

South Metro Fire Rescue crews rushed to the home to extinguish the fire. No one was hurt.
