Road Crews Work To Repair Sinkhole Before Morning Commute

DENVER (CBS4)– Road crews in Denver worked late into the night on Wednesday to repair a sinkhole before the busy morning commute.

The sinkhole appeared at 9th and Washington on Wednesday night.

Both streets were closed to traffic for a couple of blocks in each direction while crews worked to determine what caused the hole and how big it would get.

What caused the sinkhole is being investigated.

There is no estimate on when the roads will be reopened.
