Thornton Man Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Wife

THORNTON, Colo. (AP) - A Thornton man is under arrest, accused of killing his wife after a fight.

Police said the woman was found with multiple stab wounds early Tuesday morning in a home in Thornton. Her husband, 59-year-old David Pineda, was found on Colorado Highway 470 southwest of Denver. He was arrested for investigation of first-degree murder.

Police believe the two were involved in a fight before she was stabbed but don't have a possible motive yet.

The woman died after being taken to the hospital. Her name hasn't been released.
