DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver Broncos have signed college free agents Kapri Bibbs and Shaquil Barrett from Colorado State University.

Bibbs, the star running back from the CSU Rams, and linebacker Shaquil Barrett weren’t drafted, but the Broncos obviously think they have potential.

Bibbs owns CSU’s single-season rushing record and Barrett was the 2013 Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

When making the announcement the Broncos noted that since 2004 13 rookie college free agents have made the Broncos’ active roster out of training camp.

Bibbs wrote in a Tweet “Thankyou @johnelway for the opportunity broncos here we come !” and Barrett wrote “Preciate all the love and support. I’m heading to the Broncos.”
