Make A Bid On A Celeb-Signed Schwinn To Benefit The MS Society

DENVER (CBS4) - The Colorado-Wyoming chapter of the National MS Society  is going to benefit from an auction of a bicycle.

The Schwinn Bicycle Company is donating a Hollywood cruiser signed by actors Elijah Wood, Maggie Gyllenhaal and many more to the MS Society. The stars signed the 2014 bike at the Sundance Festival.

"The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society provides comprehensive programs and advocacy to assist and empower the more than 100,000 individuals residing in Colorado and Wyoming who are affected by multiple sclerosis annually," Schwinn said in a statement.

The bike will be actioned off on eBay. The minimum bid starts at $800 and the "Buy It Now" price is $4,000.

The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society was founded in 1959 and provides comprehensive programs and advocacy to assist and empower the more than 100,000 individuals residing in Colorado and Wyoming who are affected by MS annually.  The Colorado-Wyoming Chapter is also a driving force of research for the prevention, treatment and cure of MS and contributes funds to support 380 National MS Society research projects worldwide – eight of which are located in Colorado.The Chapter has offices in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Cheyenne and Casper serving the Colorado and Wyoming communities.
