Wildfire Prevention Focus Of National Day Of Action

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- Communities across Colorado came together for the National Day of Action with a focus on wildfire prevention.

The day is dedicated to preparing for emergencies and disasters.

Denver's Parks and Rec Department teamed up with the Mountain Parks Division and FEMA for wildfire mitigation work.

They cut tree limbs, cleared brush and hauled debris from Genesee Park in Golden.
