Owner Of Dogs That Attacked Neighbor Faces 14 Charges
DENVER (CBS4) – The owner of the three dogs that attacked her neighbors and their dogs could face a year in jail if convicted.
Shirley Crofford says the animals broke through her security door Saturday and attacked her, her husband and their two small dogs in their own living room.
One of the animals was seriously hurt.
The dogs that attacked were placed in quarantine. Their owner, Karen Smith, is facing 14 charges for the attack, including violating leash laws and animal bites.
