DENVER (AP/CBS4) — Denver prosecutors have filed charges alleging a certified nurse aide sexually assaulted a 71-year-old resident of a skilled nursing facility.
The District Attorney’s Office said Monday that Richard Jama, 39, faces two counts of sexual assault on an at-risk adult.
“The charges allege that on at least two separate occasions, Jama, while on duty as a certified nurse aid, sexually assaulted a 71-year-old resident of a skilled nursing facility,” Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney’s office said in a statement.
No phone number could be found for Jama and it wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
He has been released on $60,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court Thursday.
