Patrols Stepping Up In Area Popular With Target Shooters

SEDALIA, Colo. (CBS4) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Forest Service will be stepping up patrols in an area popular with target shooters.

The area is located off Highway 67 just south of Sedalia.

Some people are using ammo that’s not allowed and that has sparked fires.

There’s already been a brush fire in the Turkey Tracks area in Douglas County.

With dry conditions there is high fire danger for many parts of Colorado.
