ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The driver accused of causing a deadly accident was charged in court on Monday in Arapahoe County.
Ever Olivos–Gutierrez is now charged with first degree murder with extreme indifference, two counts of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.
Investigators say Olivos-Gutierrez had a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit when he slammed into a car driven by 17-year-old Juan Carlos Dominguez-Palomino.
Dominguez-Palomino did not survive the accident.
Authorities say the suspect was in the county illegally and didn’t have a valid Colorado driver’s license.
