Metro State’s Winning Streak Broken With Loss To Central Missouri

DENVER (CBS4)– Metro State’s mens basketball team had not lost a game since November 2013 until last night’s NCAA Semi-Final game against Central Missouri.

Metro State was down two in the closing seconds when Mitch McCarron sank both free throws to tie the game at 69.

But with the clock ticking with only seven seconds left in the game, the Mules score and they went on to win the game 71-69 over Metro State.

The Roadrunners tried to tie up the game but were beat out by the buzzer.

Central Missouri advanced to the Division II National Championship.
