Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Shooting In Denver
DENVER (CBS4) – A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Denver Wednesday night.
According to police, officers responded to the 3200 Block of West Avondale Drive on report of a shooting at 8:17 p.m.
"When officers arrived, they discovered a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The male was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased," police said in a statement.
Timothy Wakefield, 29, was arrested as a suspect in the shooting.
Details of what led up to the shooting haven't been released.
The identity of the victim also hasn't been released.
