Breckenridge Town Council Rejects Sculpture For Roundabout
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - The Breckenridge town council has decided that a sculpture that was originally intended for a roundabout deserves to be placed where people can see it more closely.
The sculpture was made by well-known artist Albert Paley, but the town council does not believe it is a good fit to represent the town of Breckenridge. However, the council plans to place the sculpture at a new site where it can be more appreciated by the public than if it were just being watched from the window of a car.
The final placement of Paley's sculpture has not been announced and the town council has started a search for a new piece of art for the middle of the roundabout.
