Skiers Enjoy Latest Round Of Fresh Powder

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4) – The slopes are filled with skiers and boarders enjoying the latest round of fresh powder.

Some ski areas received more than a foot of snow in Friday's storm.

Some folks are excited to hit the slopes before the spring breakers head to the high country to take advantage of the great snow.

"Oh it's beautiful out here. The weather's great, the snow is still soft, lifts are running fast and everybody's happy," said skier Frank Haley.

Some ski areas have already received more than the average snowfall for the season.

Experts say this is shaping up to be one of the best ski seasons in years.
