Loveland Police Officer Released From Hospital

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) — A Loveland police officer wounded in a shooting last weekend has been released from the hospital.

The Loveland Police Department says officer Garret Osilka continues to improve but it couldn't release specific details Friday.

Osilka was wounded during a traffic stop on Sunday.

Police arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of attempted first degree murder of a peace officer and first-degree assault.
