BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Deputies in Boulder County are searching for the person who set fire to a pile of flood debris.

The fire was started just before 2 a.m. at 107th Street and Dawson Drive.

Firefighters rushed to put out the fire that was burning in a large pile of wood and branches. That pile was burning near a cleanup site from the recent floods.

Deputies noticed a one gallon jug near the debris pile that led them to believe the fire was deliberately set.
