ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4)- The couple being held for the murder of an Aspen socialite may ask the judge to release them on bond.

William F. Styler III, 65, and Nancy Christine Styler, 62, are facing first-degree murder and conspiracy charges. They are accused of killing the woman whose home they had been renting.

Nancy Pfister, 57, was a popular member of the Aspen community and was found dead in her home last week.

The Stylers are being held in Pitkin County without bond. Sources close to the case told CBS4 the paperwork will be filed next week to ask the judge to allow the couple to be free until charges are officially filed next week.

The couple would be required to wear ankle monitoring bracelets and not leave Colorado.
