Amtrak Resumes Operations At Renovated Union Station
DENVER (CBS4) – Friday was moving day for Amtrak as the passenger railway resumed operations in Denver's Union Station.
The first train is scheduled to depart from the renovated station Friday evening.
The train service moved to 21st and Wewatta Street a few years ago to make room for renovations at the downtown landmark.
The project includes a new commuter rail station and an underground bus concourse.
All the work won't be done until later this year.
