COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Police say a Colorado Springs man found dead in Iowa was beaten and stabbed to death.

Colorado Springs police said Thursday an autopsy on 61-year-old Grant Michael Frazier determined he died from blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. The death was ruled a homicide.

Twenty-one-year-old Bionca Rogers is awaiting extradition to Colorado from Iowa on suspicion of first-degree murder. She surrendered to authorities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Wednesday.

Rogers hasn't been formally charged. She wasn't listed in online jail records in Linn County, Iowa, and it wasn't clear if she had a lawyer.

Frazier was last seen Feb. 16, and police say Rogers was with him. His body was found this week in Newton, Iowa.

Police haven't said where Rogers is from or how she knew Frazier.
