Englewood Police Release ID Of Man Found Dead In Platte River

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Englewood have released the identity of a man who was found dead in the South Platte River last Wednesday.

Police said the body of Damian Wayne Thompson, 38, was discovered by a man and his grandchildren while they were riding bicycles along the Mary Carter Greenway Trail near Dartmouth Avenue.

No other information about Thompson’s death has been released.
