LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – A trip home from the casinos took a deadly turn when two men on a bus start fighting and one ended up dead.

The incident happened in a parking lot near the Chilson Recreation Center in Loveland early Sunday morning.

Loveland police say the two men started arguing on the bus ride back from Black Hawk. When the bus dropped passengers off around 2 a.m. they say the argument turned into turned into a fist fight.

Police say Cory James Nix, 32, of Loveland is charged killing Billy Kirk Page, 41, of Greeley. Police say Nix assaulted Page in the parking lot. According to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office, Page died from blunt force trauma.

Police say they won’t release Nix’s mug shot because they are hoping more witnesses can identify him in a police lineup.

It’s not clear if the men knew each other or what sparked the argument.
