Police Arrest Suspected Online Predator
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A suspected online predator was arrested on Friday after the teenage girl he thought he was chatting with online turned out to be an investigator.
That led to the arrest of 29-year-old Joshua Cory Theys.
An investigator said he pretended he was a 14-year-old girl and had sexually explicit conversations with Theys.
Theys was allegedly planning to travel to Centennial from Colorado Springs to meet the girl. Investigators arrested him at his home instead because of his potential risk to children.
