Greeley Police Investigating Suspicious Incident At A Day Care

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Greeley police are investigating after a couple with a young child allegedly walked into a day care and tried to pick up a little girl.

It happened on Monday at the Sunshine Day Care on 16th Street.

They had no information other than the child's first name and said the child's mother asked them to pick her up.

As staff tried to contact the parents for approval the couple said they had the wrong place and left.

Police are looking for a white man and woman in their 30s.

The child with them was between 2 and 5 years old with dark blonde or light brown hair.
