Aurora Police Make Arrest In Serious Crash

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Aurora have arrested a man in connection with a serious crash that occurred last August.

According to police, Farron Michael Williams, 31, was taken into custody on Saturday. They say he was driving while intoxicated and crashed his vehicle and seriously injured himself and a passenger.

"Mr. Williams' choice to drive while intoxicated has resulted in serious consequences for his passenger and himself," police said in a statement.

Williams faces the following charges:

  • Count 1: Vehicular Assault (Class 4 Felony)
  • Count 2: Driving Under The Influence (Class 1 Misdemeanor)
  • Count 3: Driving Under The Influence Per Se (Class 1 Misdemeanor)
