Woman Accused In Fatal Northern Colorado Hit & Run Turns Self In

WINDSOR, Colo. (CBS4) – A woman accused in a fatal hit-and-run in Northern Colorado has turned herself in to police.

Police say Theresa Marie O'Connor, 28, of Fort Collins turned herself in on Thursday in connection with the hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist.

Ernesto Jorge Wiedenbrug was hit while riding his bike last month on the Interstate 25 Frontage Road near Windsor.

O'Connor is facing charges including leaving the scene of a deadly accident and careless driving causing death.

She has been released on bond.
