Another Day Of Sickness For 100+ Legacy High Students

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- It's been another day of sickness for some 100 students at Legacy High School in Broomfield. This is the third day that dozens of students have called in sick, complaining of a stomach virus.

The high school is in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools. School officials said there was no need to cancel classes on the recommendation of the Broomfield Health and Human Services.

Instead, the school was cleaned and now the district is asking for help from parents and students to keep the virus from spreading.

Norovirus is highly contagious. The most common symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea and abdominal pain.
