Denver Police Search For Attempted Abduction Suspect

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are looking for a man they say tried to abduct a 9-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl.

The incident happened Wednesday morning near 8th Avenue and Hooker Street. The girls were walking to Eagleton Elementary.

"The suspect motioned to the females and then exposed himself to them and the victims ran away from the area and told an adult what had happened," police said in a statement.

Police say an unshaven 30- to 40-year-old man, possibly Hispanic, tried to get the girls into his vehicle. It is described as a white, older model Jeep Cherokee or Wrangler with damage and rust to the front and sides.
