17-Year-Old Charged As Adult In Attempted Sex Assault Cases
DENVER (CBS4)- A teenager with a violent criminal history who had escaped from custody has been charged as an adult.
Adonnis Rucker has been charged with four counts of second-degree kidnapping, four counts of attempted sexual assault, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felony menacing in connection with separate incidents that occurred on Jan. 8 and Jan. 16 in Denver.
The charges allege that Rucker, 17, attacked a woman on Jan. 8 near Monaco Parkway and Iliff Avenue and that he allegedly attacked a woman on Jan. 16 near 11th Avenue and Osage Street.
Rucker escaped from custody while being transported for a juvenile court hearing but was taken into custody again on Jan. 24.
Rucker is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30.
