ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– Employees at the Sports Authority Corporate Headquarters in Englewood were evacuated from the building on Monday afternoon because of a threat.
Englewood Police spokesman Brian Cousineau said a bomb threat was called into the office building located at 1050 W. Hampden Ave. just before 4 p.m.
Everyone was evacuated and several surrounding roads to the building were blocked off by police but it did not disrupt the evening commute on Hampden Ave.
Bomb squads searched the building.
Copter4 flew over the headquarters and found several dozen people standing in the parking lot which was blocked off by police cruisers.
Police did not know the motivation behind the threat.
