National Parks To Waive Entrance Fees On MLK Day

DENVER (AP) — Entrance fees are being waived at several national parks and monuments in Colorado on Monday to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The National Park Service says more than 100 sites across the country will be offering free visitor admission and will be waiving commercial tour entrance fees and transportation entrance fees.

The parks in Colorado that are participating include Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado National Monument, Dinosaur National Monument, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Hovenweep National Monument, Mesa Verde National Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
