Boulder Police Searching For Sexual Assault Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Boulder are looking for the suspect in a sexual assault.

A 20-year-old woman was allegedly attacked while she was walking alone at 2:45 a.m. in East Euclid Avenue and 30th Street.

She says the man pushed her to the ground and assaulted her.

A neighbor heard her screaming and called police.

"As she was attacked, she screamed, which is a good thing, screamed, yelled and that's when the residents heard it and came out. The suspect ran from the area prior to the residents coming out. No one got a look at him," Detective Jack Gardner with Boulder police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6-inches tall, medium build with short dark hair in a spiked style with a full mustache and long sideburns.

He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with white lettering and carrying a dark colored backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Boulder police.
