Denver To Break Ground On New Rec Center Next Year
DENVER (CBS4) - Construction on Denver's newest recreation center will begin next year.
Mayor Michael Hancock and several city council members made the announcement on Monday.
The Central Denver Recreation Center will be built at East Colfax Avenue and Josephine Street. It will include two pools, a fitness area, multi-court gym and several classrooms.
The city will host public input meetings in the next few months to get more ideas for the center.
