Aurora Police Search For Person Of Interest In Homicide
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Aurora would like the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on Dec. 27.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a dead body in the 11900 block of East Archer Place.
“When officers arrived on scene they found the body of a deceased adult male inside of the apartment who was the apparent victim of a homicide,” police said in a statement.
The man has been identified as 28-year-old Rodolfo Martinez-Cancin.
Police are now searching for Eric Jesus Chacon-Martinez in connection with the case. He was Martinez-Cancin’s roommate. He is described as being 30 to 33 years old, 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds. He may work as a house painter.
“He has not been seen since the night of the homicide and investigators would like to talk to him,” police said.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
