Patients Possibly Exposed To Hepatitis C At Poudre Valley Hospital

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A Colorado hospital has notified hundreds of people that they may have been exposed to hepatitis C.

Poudre Valley Hospital has mailed letters to 210 adults who doctors treated in the intensive care unit.

The dates of concern are from September of 2011 to August of 2012. The hospital says a former employee may have been diverting prescription painkillers.

The hospital also said there is no evidence patients were infected with hepatitis C but they want to be sure.
