STEAMBOAT, Colo. (CBS4) – Skiers and snowboarders headed up to Steamboat to hit the slopes after dark over the weekend.
Night skiing began there Friday night.
Visitors can take advantage of 1,100 vertical feet of snow lit up after dark.
The event has many people excited.
“I think the thing that is interesting here is the large area compared to what I’ve seen at other areas,” said skier Jesse Young.
Steamboat is the second major resort in Colorado to offer night skiing along with Keystone.
