Boy Band ‘One Direction’ Sends Well Wishes To Claire Davis
DENVER (CBS4) – On the Facebook page for Littleton Adventist Hospital people are leaving comments, asking for a Christmas miracle for Arapahoe High School shooting victim Claire Davis.
There have also been other well-wishes from around the world, including one from Davis’ favorite music group, “One Direction.”
The popular boy band responded to the requests from Davis’ friends with a video message.
“Hi Claire, we’ve heard you’re a big fan and we just wanted to show you some love,” said band member Liam Payne. “What’s happened to you is absolutely terrible, something we can’t bear thinking about, so we just wanted to share some love with you. All our prayers are with you and your family. Hope you get well soon, lots of love.”
Band member Louis Tomlinson then blew Davis a kiss on the 13-second video clip that’s been showing up on YouTube
Davis’ friends are still hoping the band will visit their injured classmate. Others are holding out hope they will perform a concert in her honor.
