Tougher Drunk Driving Laws Take Effect Jan. 1
DENVER (CBS4) - New, tough drunk driving laws are about to take effect.
Starting Jan. 1, drivers who refuse a sobriety test will be branded a persistent drunk driver. That means they will not be allowed to drive for two months.
They would also have to get a Breathalyzer installed in their vehicle in order to be allowed to drive with a suspended license for the rest of the following year.
