Deputies Believe Alcohol Involved In Fatal Crash In Arapahoe County

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Arapahoe County sheriff's deputies believe alcohol was involved in a fatal crash that occurred Sunday night.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the area of 4600 South Reservoir Road on a report of a crash.

"Sheriff's deputies determined that three vehicles were involved in the traffic crash, with several individuals injured," the department said in a statement.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene. The person's name hasn't been released.

The other victims were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions haven't been released.

"The sheriff's office investigation determined that a white Dodge truck traveling southbound on South Reservoir Road crossed into the northbound lanes striking another vehicle head on," the department said.

Investigators believe the driver of the Dodge truck, identified as Dashane McKee, 34, of Centennial, was under the influence of alcohol.

McKee is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.
