CSU Breezes By SW Oklahoma 109-55

FORT COLIINS, Colo. (AP) - Six players scored in double figures, including J.J. Avila, who scored 27 points and Colorado State breezed past Southwestern Oklahoma State 109-55 on Sunday afternoon.

Avila went 11-of-14 from the field, while Ram teammates Joe De Ciman scored 15 and Jon Octeus added 14 points.

Colorado St. (7-3) built a 30 point lead in the first before settling for a 52-28 lead at the break. The Rams hit 58 percent of their goal attempts in the half while holding the Bulldogs to just-under 30 percent from the field.

There was no stopping Colorado in the second half and the lead was extended to 54 points at the buzzer, nearly doubling SW Oklahoma's output.

Michael Bradley was the only player in double digits (10 points) for the Division II Bulldogs, while Rod Camphor and TreVante O'Neal added nine apiece.
