Shoplifter That Injured Officer Will Not Have Bond Reduced
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A suspected shoplifter accused of injuring a police officer will not have his bond reduced.
A judge Friday denied the request from Johnathan Steele.
Steele was stopped by the police after allegedly shoplifting from Best Buy last Friday in Aurora. He tried to get away by knocking one of the police officers to the ground with his car.
The officer fired and hit Steele in the leg.
