Man Dies After Crashing Plane Near Longmont
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have identified a man who died after crashing his plane near Longmont Wednesday.
David Bessemeier of Loveland died when his plane went down near 109th Avenue.
Witnesses reported hearing strange engine noises and seeing parts of the plane fall from the sky before impact.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating why the 66-year-old's plane crashed.
