Lakewood Police Search For Driver Who Ran From Crash

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Lakewood police are looking for a driver who ran from an accident at Wadsworth Boulevard and Center Street Tuesday morning.

The man was driving a pickup truck that collided with a white sedan. Police said the pickupĀ driver punched out the windows of his truck to get out and fled.

The driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the pickupĀ is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, 6-feet tall with a slender build. He was last seen wearing dark baseball cap, dark grey hoodie, tan or khaki shorts and light shoes. He had bloody knuckles from punching windows out to get out of his rolled over truck.

The suspect was last seen in Belmar area.
