2 Airmen Killed In Crash Trying To Avoid Couch In Middle Of Highway
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs are investigating a deadly accident that killed two airmen.
The airmen were from Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. They died after their car was hit by a truck.
Investigators say the car's driver swerved to avoid a couch in the middle of the highway and an oncoming truck hit them.
The base has not released the names of the airmen.
