Denver Rescue Mission Needs A Lot More Thanksgiving Turkeys

DENVER (CBS4) – There is a big push to collect Thanksgiving turkeys for Denver’s less fortunate.

The Denver Rescue Mission needs 15,000 turkeys to feed people at a big Thanksgiving banquet on the Nov. 27. So far the mission has collected 200 turkeys.

The mission is asking for public donations. Drop off turkeys at the Lawerence Street shelter or give a cash donation.
