Skiers Survive Avalanche Near Crested Butte

CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. (CBS4) – Two skiers survived an avalanche that happened in the Paradise Divide area northwest of the town of Crested Butte.

Sources say one of the skiers stayed above the snow slide and rode it out.

The slide was 600 feet long.

Police say neither of the skiers were injured.
