Vestas Continues To Expand Colorado Workforce

DENVER (AP) — Vestas Wind Systems is planning to add hundreds of jobs at three Colorado factories in the first half of next year.

The company said in a statement Thursday jobs will be added at its Windsor blade factory and the blade and nacelles factories in Brighton. Vestas is already adding about 100 jobs at its tower factory in Pueblo.

The company has said orders for wind turbines are expected to pick up dramatically in the United States before the end of this year as demand for renewable energy increases and electrical production improves.
